We all know that if you’re in the market for a bargain, there is no better place to browse than Aldi’s Specialbuys aisle – from a rattan furniture range that rivals designer collections to a sell-out egg chair and a £29.99 compact air fryer

But just when you thought Aldi had met all your needs, the budget supermarket is now launching another whole new collection just for your pets.

Following the success of the supermarket’s velvet scalloped range of furniture, Aldi recently revealed a Insta-worthy scalloped bed range for your furry friends – with the velvet material channelling the Regencycore trend that Bridgerton left in its wake.

The rest of Aldi’s new pet collection – available online and in-store from 18 March – boasts everything from beds and bowls to toys and even a dog agility course, with prices starting from just £2.99.

Seeing as so many of us acquired new pets during the pandemic, the new Specialbuys range could not have come at a better time. London alone saw a regional spike in dog ownership of 84 per cent last year, with a 101 per cent increase in new pets overall.

With this trend replicated across the country, many of us will be looking to kit our new animal companions out with everything they could possibly need.

And, as lockdown continues, there is no better time for long-time pet owners to treat their furry friends to a stylish new coat, some fun chewy toys, grooming goodies or a brand new bed.

Here, we’ve picked out everything we’ll be adding to our carts for our pets, from things to make playtime fun to a snazzy feeding-station upgrade. Some are available to pre-order or buy now, while others are available to pick up in-store and online from Thursday 18 March.
